Brewn stores your account email, username, password hash, profile settings, and the posts and messages you submit. Your email is excluded from the public member directory. Passwords are stored as salted hashes.

Login cookies keep you signed in. Preference cookies remember your theme, page width, and collapsed categories. You can control optional profile visibility in account settings.

When configured, Cloudflare Turnstile processes bot verification and our email provider sends verification and password-reset messages. Request identifiers are used for rate limiting. Posts and moderation records may be retained after content is hidden.
